About Speaking of SpEd

I started Speaking of SpEd to address the lack of support available for families and students in the process of special education.
Many struggle, due to a lack of clarity within the process itself, to understand each step of the process, ensure their input is recognized, and comprehend the implementation of an IEP.
My goal is to provide services and resources that empower students and families to become effective advocates for themselves.
